Yankee Air Museum is home to several WWII vintage aircraft including this B-17G named Yankee Lady. For 1 day, During a private photo shoot that was pre-scheduled I had the privilege of using actors, actresses, period clothing, and props, to create a vintage series of photographs.
This image is a composite image. I photographed the aircraft itself in Michigan and then used the backdrop to give the image a feeling that the aircraft was coming home from a bomb run in Europe. The bombers in the distance are the same aircraft just placed at different distances and elevations.
