Comet Neowise Over Mount Washington Wilderness 07-19-20
The comet appeared just above the horizon under the Big Dipper and over Mount Washington wilderness. This view was from the Dee Wright observatory in the Deschutes National Forest. It took some time after the Big Dipper appeared to be able to see the comet in the lower range of the sky. There was a bit of haze on this night. I may try again on another night before it disappears!
