Tobermory is the main town on the island of Mull. The picture-postcard port with its brightly coloured harbour-front buildings was the setting of children's TV show Balamory.Built as a fishing port in 1788 on a design by Thomas Telford, the town curves around the harbour and rises into the hillside beyond.
