Cutting through the winter storm, the steam rotary and crew, push through to clear the tracks for freight trains and passenger trains in the Rocky Mountains. Soon, those waiting trains will get the highball to move on into the night.
This digital composite image started life as a static display at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO. With the addition of 3 other images to provide a backdrop and steam along with some additional snow flakes, the final image is what you see.
