From the founding of America to its heroes, wars.causes and famous times and faces added into what at first glance is a stroll through Central Park in New York, City, then and now! There are 107 faces and figures added to this painting! What has gone into the making of the United States of America! Find a one-star general, Eisenhower peeking through the trees. A boat signifying sailing on the timeline of our country, a haughty red-haired white woman, a slave girls looking down,, the Emancipation Proclamation with slave quarters inside and President Lincoln's side body profile, an eagles profile holding a feather pen, a Jewish priest, an orange owl, Christ, the statue of liberty, a totem pole with President Washington's face at the bottom with an Indian man and a black man on either side, and so much more in the for ground even Doris Day's face! Find a Viking in the trees, frontiersmen, skulls, pilgrims, a bear, a deer, a horse, angels, children, working men, an automated man, symbol of broken treaties, Spainairds, French soldiers, a big apple with a worm and a man walking inside in a park, a hangman's noose, a cross, head of an ancient animal, and so much more! Hunt to find and I hope you have as much fun in the finding as I did in the creating of this painting. America was founded by Visionaries and became the great Country it is because we all came from different places, different backgrounds wanting the freedom to worship, freedom to become so much more than what we were in other countries. We have brutally fought for that Freedom we hold so dear and have fought against dictators all over the world to help other countries find and maintain that Freedom!
I created this piece in layers of painting and then once photographed I downloaded it to my computer and did even more digital painting to enhance it even more. A great deal of digital painting was done for many different additional layers as I got inspired.
