Description
My wild and crazy apple tree that now blooms twice a year and hopefully this year it will just be a normal behaving apple tree. These trees I started from seeds in little pots and watched them grow into small twigs and then taller than myself and finally tall trees with apple blossoms I enjoy in the Springtime and finally apples which now feed the wildlife that has been displaced by the building of yet more developments in our area. The deer, fox, chipmunk, groundhog, squirrel and many other wild life come to these apple trees throughout the apple season and feast.
I had imagined my children as they also grew up with these trees, eating apples from them but they have long since grown and moved away, one to my home town in Tennessee, one to Philadelphia and the other to Baltimore. And although they are to far to enjoy the trees are the apples, my heart is gladdened that now these trees provided a little food for the wild life being displaced.
I now wish to share with the viewer and my fellow artists the beauty I so enjoy each year.
