We were driving the Generals Highway into Sequoia National Park when I spotted the Castle Rocks formations off in the distance. How impressive a natural monument they are! Granite testimonials to the wondrous creation of this fascinating wilderness. And a feast for the eyes.
The Castle Rock peaks and outcrops are not one those easy to get to places. In fact, very few attempt to reach these spires because of the ruggedness of the terrain and conditions one must endure to get there. Not for the faint of heart.
I've finished the photograph off with brushstrokes and textures.
