Cassin's Finch adult male (Carpodacus cassinii, Fringillidae) in breeding plumage in Oregon, in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, North America. The bird is standing on a dead tree branch stub, looking sideways with his head cocked at an angle and has a bright red crown showing on top of his head.
