Description
Cape Canaveral Light House on the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. This is the location of all the East Coast rocket launches from Florida. Built in 1863 on the cape, it was moved approximately 1.4 miles farther inland in 1893 due to fears the shoreline would wear away and the structure would collapse. The erosion never happened, and the concern was unfounded.
