Wow, what a beauty! On our way back into town this afternoon, swooping down in front of the car a good 20 or so feet was a red-tailed hawk! I kid you not. My daughter is slowing down and saying, "What is that, what IS that?!" Hardly ever at a loss for words, I said, "A bird that should be flying a lot higher than he is!" Then she said, "Its a red-tailed hawk! I had never seen one that close before. This is a wonderful capture.
