Description
This was one of my main destinations on this Northern California sojourn. It was not disappointing.
Burney Falls was once called "the Eighth Wonder of the World" by President Theodore Roosevelt. This National Natural Landmark stands at 129 feet tall and pours out millions of gallons of water per day. It's hard to tell how wide it is since water springs out from underground wells along the outer walls.
