I was talking to a lady friend the other day about stuff. You know, life.She said when she was growing up everyone had an opinion on who she should be. Granted, parents have a large degree of say in what their teenagers should wear or do as they grow up. That is normal and it is okay to a large extent.

She however said that as you get older some of your peers can really get carried away about what you shouldn’t eat, wear, drink and so forth. Others would tell her she was fat, oh you should walk more like a lady, or you are too bold when talking to people. Your shoulders are too wide, you have big hands for a lady, don’t wear that it will make you look like this or that, bla, bla, bla......it never ended. Over time, she figured that some people just told you not to do what they would really want to do but are not bold enough to do it.

So then she says, live for you! Make your own fashion statement. Wear what makes you comfortable. Put on a wig if you want to. Shave your head bold, dye your hair red, blue, green, yellow, purple or pink! Put on your makeup and get out to the world and have some fun. Fall in Love and make your mistakes like everyone else does. Get over your mistakes eventually like everybody else does and move on.

While you are at it though, watch out, life is not just about fashion and falling in love. Be good to all people, smile at everyone, say hi to all those you can, hug those you can hug and feel 100% beautiful! There is no one in the world that is more beautiful than you are because we are all beautiful!
