Blue Jay Perching Quietly
Artist
Debra Martz

Photograph - Photography
Description
More often than not, when a Blue Jay arrives in my backyard, it is calling loudly but this one slipped in quietly. Blue Jays are most often detected by their noisy calls which often mimic hawks...perhaps to frighten the other birds away or could be a warning that a hawk is actually near.
