Description
In Chile we have ancient forests high up in the Andes Mountains. In these forests there is a great diversity of birds that I have observed for years from our cabin in the middle of the forest. In this series I want to introduce you to some of these beautiful birds, some only live in these forests, others spread throughout the world, all are beautiful and unique. This is the "chucao" a small and very shy bird that runs through our humid jungle. It is very difficult to see, but easy to hear, it has a very distinctive -and loud- song. While I paddled silently in my kayak through the Icalma lagoon, this little friend was running through the forest accompanying me with his song. A good friend!
