Description

After photographing this zebra with his stunning strips I had to paint him. I have always used a brush to paint. This is one of the first times I have used the Apple pencil to achieve the look I was going for. This is a digitally painted piece with multiple layers. The lines of this animal are so smooth and flawless. I also have a black and white version. He is aware of his beauty, but he also seemed bashful and elegant

My Digital paintings have been inspired by my photo journaling.
Starting with a "blank" canvas and the use of my Apple Pencil, I am able to paint in oil, acrylic, and water brushes. These brushes and extras are all part of my process for various effects. These brushes and extras work much like a real art brush would work.
