Honolulu Zoo has particularly nice specimens of banyan trees on its parklike grounds. This large banyan tree grows near the entrance. Note the aerial prop roots growing from the branches, a peculiar feature of the banyan tree. This shot was taken in August of 2013 in Oahu, Hawaii.
