Description
Influenced by bamboo paintings helped my creation of this piece, created in encaustic art. The vibrant colours are created with pigmented beeswax and damar resin melted and mixed together. I started off with a red, green and blue background, with the bamboo being created by dragging the outer edge of a rolled piece of material through it at similar intervals.
