Description

The Texas State Capitol can be viewed along the entire length of Congress Avenue in Austin, but you have to be near the center of the road to get a good photo. I stood on the edge of the bike lane in the middle of the Congress Avenue Bridge during a red light to get a series of ICM photos that I blended together. The blending process in Photoshop is unpredictable, and this time it produced a faint but cubist-styled Capital surrounded by bright, festive downtown lights. I had to crop it heavily because they were overwheming the subject.
