The structure and architecture of the abandoned Casino and Carousel buildings, still standing proud in their history contrasted with the vibrant and colorful street art produced by local artists. Art displays such as these can be seen in several areas of the boardwalk as though they were always meant to be there, intermingled with historic architecture art, music venues, shops eateries and apartment buildings. The art and music communities are visibly strong and important influences and forces in the current revitalization and redevelopment of the area.
