A walk on the sand to take in the engineering marvel of the high-level aqueduct by the Mediterranean Sea in Israel. A remembrance of hearing the waves, feeling the breeze and sun on my face.
The west channel of the high-level aqueduct located on the Mediterranean Sea side. One of the channels of aqueducts build for Cesarea to bring in water to the expanding city for drinking and bath consumption. The high-level aqueduct was built in two parallel sections over time by Herod and then by Hadrian.
