A3 drawing of Anna, done with charcoal on cartridge paper. I never know whether or not to post things out of my sketchbooks as I don't really consider them finished, but I do rather like the looseness you get in a sketch, which is something I am trying to develop in my larger drawings.

I read your description and see that you said you didn't know if you should post things from your sketchbook, but I say definitely yes. There is a freedom of the movement of your pencil and an honesty that is hard to deny.

Thank you :-)... it does capture the look you get when you refuse to buy ice-cream... her eyelashes are in reality twice as long, rather unreal and have been known to cause a breeze :-)
