This is Victor (or Victoria), the sweet little Western Screech Owl who resides in a burrow in a Giant Saguaro cactus by my house. As the star of many of my photographs and videos, I like to show his many moods. Here he is trying to go to sleep early in the morning after a night out carousing in the desert. This photograph was taken on February 22, 2019, about 8:50 a.m.
