Abstract Winter Forest Scene with Falling Snow, watercolor on Yupo, by Conni Schaftenaar.
A sheet of Yupo flooded with Prussian Blue and my fave texturizing method of plastic wrap scrunched across it, left to dry. Then Payne's Gray to add some trees, then spattered with Bleed Proof White for the appearance of falling snow. A little bit of blotting at the bottom with a damp cotton ball to make some mounds of snow in the foreground. This was done as one of my entries in a local postcard exhibit in 4x6 size.
