Painting - Textured Acrylic Abstract Painting On Canvas
Description
Inspiration for this piece was my daughter and the love of being a mother. It started as a complete abstract painting of circles and geometric shapes but as the molding and gels started to set I could see the formation of a woman and a child and myself. I used expensive heavy acrylic paints red, blue, green, gold, silver and black as well as interference acrylic liquid paints. I used a combination of molding paste for the texture and the silver in the painting has a very metal look to it. I created the lines by the end of my paintbrush to achieve Solid smooth lines and to try and a achieve a stain glass window look and feel to the painting. Since it is very textured I have many hidden messages abstract images within the painting and it is always fun to see what the audience can find in the painting and see. One of kind original varnished. Unfortunately the painting is only available for special private viewings as the original is not for sale.
