A Tree Grows In Iowa
Artist
Linda Brittain
Medium
Photograph - Photography
Description
In western Iowa, in an autumn field with drying corn, an abandoned, tilting silo became home to a very determined tree. Sometime in the mid-1970s, so the story goes, this tree started growing in this silent silo, reaching for the sun. Soon the top of the tree was obvious, and it just kept growing. The tree in the silo continues on as the land surrounding it is farmed each year, and it is left to continue its life cycle.
This would make an amazing throw pillow, shower curtain, puzzle, mug, or greeting card, in addition to wall art choices. Please visit lindabrittain.pixels.com for MANY other gift and home decor suggestions.
