A Thunderstorm And A Perseid Meteor Shower

Description
The Perseids meteor shower takes place in August during the summer. The falling stars are called like this because the point from which they appear to hail lies in the constellation of Perseus. If you are lucky and there is no full moon you can see even hundreds of meteors in one hour! This summer night I was prepared to photograph the shooting stars. I found a nice location on the seashore when a thunderstorm broke over Sithonia in Chalkidiki. It was amazing witnessing the two phenomena happening at the same time! Shooting stars and thunders! Unfortunately the clouds covered the sky in my frame but I managed to capture a big and bright Perseid meteor!
