Lions live in permanent groups called prides; but, tigers live mostly solitary existances only
interacting briefly when mating or occasionally when they share a kill.
During these times a streak of tigers will socialize with each other for several days before the males wander off in search of other game or female territories. They will often leave an area to maintain a peaceful existence rather than fight.
