Went on a Scott Kelby photowalk. The group I signed up with headed to Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. It was too early for fall colors, so I decided to hang out with the squirrels.
Was glad I did; they were pretty entertaining and plentiful, scurrying around gathering up their nuts for now, and later.

Thanks Michel. I have a 400mm lens, so it gets me some good reach - though you always want more - it often seems so inadequate ( : I was standing very close to the tree this guy was in. The squirrels at the arboretum are pretty used to seeing a lot of people around, so not terribly skittish, and there were lots of nuts to be had!
