A Panoramic View Of Falmouth
This is a panoramic view of Falmouth, my home town, taken from the hill above Trefusis Point near Flushing.
To the far left is The Roseland Peninsula with St Anthony's Lighthouse on the headland and in the very far distance on the middle right is The Lizard Peninsular on the far side of Falmouth Bay.
The castle on the hill in the centre is Pendennis, built by Hery Vlll to protect Falmouth Harbour and right of that is the glass front of Ships and Castles Leisure Centre and The Falmouth Hotel which overlooks the long sandy beaches over the hill.
Still a busy cruise port, Falmouth is also used by the navy and pleasure craft with one of the best marinas on the south Cornwall coast.
Not a bad place to live is it? I'm very lucky.
