How can a painter resist the beauty of fall colors? Impossibile to capture the intensity of the world at this time of the year. I will keep trying. Living along Wisconsin Creek, in Madison County, Montana, gives ample opportunity to obsorbe and appreciate the beautiy that is all around. Others may enjoy a digital world but I love the feeling, smell and invigoration of falls ever changing moods. This is another of my many attempts to recreate the joy I feel when I am outdoors.
Additional note: I am never satisfied with my painting. Common problem with artists, but that is what keeps me going. The most difficult thing a painter encounters is starting and stopping. Maybe stopping. Its fun to start, but more difficult to stop. I'm sure there are many corrections, but I remind myself, I'm just practicing and I will keep on practicing until I can no longer do so. So dahdah.... done is done!
