This beautiful scene is actually found along the Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Grove, California, just the other side of the Monterey's famous Cannery Row, on the tip of the Monterey Peninsula.

Pacific Grove is also home of one of the more famous light houses found on the west coast of America, the Point Pinos Lighthouse.

Monterey and its neighboring city, Carmel by the Sea, or just Carmel are the stop and starting points of one of the most scenic drives in the entire world, the famous 17 Mile Drive, home of Pebble Beach Golf Course.

Carmel of course was made even more famous when one of Hollywood's largest icons, Clint Eastwood ran for and served as mayor some years back. For years Eastwood could be found having dinner in Carmel's Hog's Breadth Restaurant, which he owned and frequented for years before selling it.
