On any given day in Morro Bay Harbor in Morro Bay California, you will find a group of sea otters floating around inside harbor and inside some of the docks and very close to the shore.
A group of sea otters is called a "raft". These rafts may or may not include babies (pups). You can see them swimming around and just frolicking away, eating, bathing and doing what sea otter do.
They are a favorite of the tourist and especially the kids.
Morro Bay is a tourist destination on the Central Coast of Californian located in San Luis Obispo County and is home of the world famous Morro Rock.
The entire City of Morro Bay and a good portion of the surrounding area is also a bird sanctuary and is a very popular with birders.
