I found this old goat working for a living in a water retention basin owned by Hancock College in Santa Maria, California.
He was one of about 30 in a heard of goats that the owner rented out for weed control. It is a considered the most environmentally friendly way of keeping weeds under control. It also is a pretty neat way for the goat farmer to save on his feed bill and add an additional revenue stream.
A real win/win for everyone.
