Like most boys, I loved cars (and trucks) from a very early age.   I probably started drawing “stick cars” around four years old.   My father worked for Ford Motor Company after the war and then later opened his own dealership, so I grew up around all those wonderful cars of the Fifties and Sixties.   The new car showings were magical and even more exciting to me than a circus.   I loved the smell and the feel of all the new (and old) Detroit iron, spending hours surrounded by those icons of what is now our motoring past.   I spent most of my career in the car...more
