John Kurtyka experiments with abstraction and visual metaphor.   A seasoned draftsman, painter, and muralist; he gradually began applying those skills to digital media.   Teaching as an artist-in-residence, John had a career bringing lessons to public schools and community centers all over the Silicon Valley.   His artwork has been shown at venues that include the Euphrat Museum in Cupertino, the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, and the San Jose Museum of Art.   John now lives with his wife in Portland, Oregon, where he continues to create artwork.   Other...more
