What this...God?   Hello, my name is Guy Salem.   I began painting in 1998 after suffering an aneurysm and a subsequent stroke.   After 3 surgeries and intense rehabilitation I struggled to regain my strength and the life I had before.   The stroke left me virtually without speech and an intense weakness on the right side of my body.   While attending speech therapy at Texas Womens University.   I began taking art classes and discovered it was an interesting although very different way of communicating my feelings.   I also began teaching...more
