Description

Typical tannic water river in Florida in the spring before the rains come and muddy up the water. This picture of the Withlacoochee River between state road 50 and Silver Lake was taken from one of the sand bars in the river. It is a great place for a canoe or kayak trip, although I prefer the stretch between Silver Lake and Nobleton.
