This is a great time of year for hummingbirds, and it's always a challenge to get a good shot of them in flight. They're so fast and shy. Half of the challenge is getting the wings in a good position. I really liked the lighting and the wing position for this shot.

This is a fantastic capture, Randy! I have a hummingbird feeder, & flowers they like to visit, but while our neighbours tell me the hummingbirds feed from them I keep missing them myself! I recently read that their hearts beat 500 beats/minute & they need to feed themselves regularly for energy, so I'm sure I will see them. Meantime, there is this.. a wonderful gem of photography :))
