Description
Observing the white pelicans floating on the Current River, at the Canadian/USA border between Ontario and Michigan. The serene lakeside landscape showcases a small island with a single tree surrounded by water. A group of white swans is gently floating near the island while the background reveals more residential structures on the far lake shore. While spending a few days of vacation on a quiet beach resort near Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that the place was like a paradise for Pelicans - unexpected for me to see them so far North. It was the beginning of the month of June (still springtime). and probably this was their nesting / hatching place. My husband and I were so delighted to watch them and take photos of them.
