Description
A tidal creek passes through the Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge, in this image captured along the Dixie Mainline Road, just a little north and east of the little town of Suwannee, Florida. The 8.5 mile Dixie Mainline was built in the 1920s by the Putnam Lumber Company as a narrow-gauge railway bed to haul out cypress and pine, but it is now maintained as part of the Wildlife Refuge, providing access to wild and beautiful Florida Big Bend Coast scenery.

Awesome composition of this Florida tidal creek, David, always wanted to drive down that road but didn't know if the motorhome would make it!
David Beard replied:
Thanks very much, Jurgen. Not too sure about a motorhome on some of the narrow bridges, let alone if you meet something else big coming the other way!
