Description
This mixed media surreal image of a head is a combination of magazine paper collage and oil pastels layered and then scratched. The scratching (usually with a pencil) creates the thin lighter colored lines of the "brain" and elsewhere. The finished piece was scanned into the computer and given digital enhancement and texture. This piece presents the mind or the brain as a book or stack of pages.
