I've looked at this view for 45 years. How could this view not encourage someone to love landscape photography. This is in my home turf. I used to see this view every day on my travels home from work.
Located in Bedford County Virginia, these autumn sunset views are located in Forest, Virginia, just west of Lynchburg. This landscape of Peaks of Otter, Blue Ridge Parkway, Jefferson National Forest lands used to be a part of the Thomas Jefferson Poplar Forest plantation. The two peaks are Sharp Top Mountain on the left and flat Top Mountain on the right, part of the Peaks of Otter. This area has long historical roots, a number of historical properties are still in and around Bedford County in this area. These views are forever protected from developments and are in a conservation trust area.
