Who can resist a sunflower? I sure cannot! They are uplifting and so beautiful! I was curious what the sunflower represents. This is what I learned.
"Sunflowers symbolize adoration, loyalty and longevity. Much of the meaning of sunflowers stems from its namesake, the sun itself. ... Sunflowers are known for being “happy” flowers, making them the perfect gift to bring joy to someone's (or your) day."
Sounds like a good motto to live by. Let's bring joy to each and everyone we meet. Being kind and joyous is contagious. Let's infect this world with joy, hope and love.
I grew this sunflower in my garden in Yarmouth Maine starting from a small seed. It brightens my day even in the winter white.
