Description

This dramatic arch is the guarded entrance gate to Istana Negara (Malay for National Palace), the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. The palace replaced the older one in 2011. B&W version of travel photography by Barbie Corbett Newmin.
