Griot Gathering shares the story of local social Activist, who worked to insure the safety of the families and neighborhoods, along the Avenue, know as Troost. Like many cities across the United States, there is segregation between Families, based on the US Racist system. In the Ancient Societies of Africa, the Griots were the African Storytellers, they shared the news, current events, and preserved the history to be passed down to the youth... A GNome is the basic building block of a nation. It is made up of five groups of families coming together to form a tribe and five tribes coming together to form a GNome. Building an Eco-Nome-Y like this will ensure that No Family Gets Left Behind!!
