Description
Chicago LaSalle and Jackson is probably one of the most notable road intersection in all of Chicago, there is a lot of history that has happened at this corner over the years. LaSalle Street is often called the LaSalle Canyon due to the height of the buildings and their relative proximity to each other. With the Chicago Board of Trade at the end of the street, it really does look like a canyon of steel, stone, and glass. On the left side of the photograph just outside of view is the Rookery and the Bank of America Building formally known as the Continental Bank. On the far right Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. These three building along with the Chicago Board of Trade form the end of the LaSalle Canyon which is the corner of LaSalle and Jackson.
All proceeds will be donated to Chicago's Cornerstone Community Outreach in honor of photographer Richard Cleis, 1965-2021.
