Agave Abstract
Close-up of a thorny agave with a pleasing combination of colors, backlit by the morning sun.
A lovely minimalistic natural abstract for interior decoration.

The cosmic Rose: This is an abstract painting of the Rosette Nebula. It's the only known cosmic cloud of gas and dust resembling a flower and its "petals" are a stellar nursery, with a central cluster of hot young stars. Their radiation and the winds sculpt this lovely shape. Curious about the medium I used? Directly from my kitchen: beetroot and turmeric :)
Thank you!

This image reminded me of the vinyl records that I had as a teenager. There was a small circle in the middle that fit over a tiny knob. That held the record in place on the record player (also called a turntable) as it turned around and around. A stylus, or needle, was lowered onto the grooves in the disc, starting at the outer edge and working it's way to the center as the disc circled around.
What started out as an image created to co-ordinate with other images also produced a walk down memory lane.

Ba, the Chinese word for 8 and the luckiest number in the Chinese culture, is the subject of this acylic abstract painting by Bill Tomsa and features not only the lucky number eight but also one of the 3 lucky colors red. The circle in Chinese culture also is symbolic of "oneness", "unity", "perfection".

The Patapsco river captured in the Fall with leaves reflecting in the rippled current at Patapsco Valley State Park in Ellicott City, Maryland. The vibrancy is enhanced to make the colors pop.
