Contest Rule Being Ignored But Can't Delete The Contest.
The OLD PHOTOS- 25 YEARS OR OLDER contest was supposed to be photos shot by the submitter, but that rule is being ignored by many. I can delete the obvious ones but some am not sure about. Not sure what to do, except let it run its course and move on.
you can't prove one way or the other who shot it and when. not everyone will have images from back then, let alone for sale. you can erase it all and no one will be in there or let it run its course. these things have no prizes, its supposed to be for fun. put too many rules in and it becomes not fun.
You do the best that you can do to honor your entries that appear to be valid.
I really never understand people who get a kick out of getting away with being " cheats ".
Apparently it is the best that they can do in life , so they work hard at deceiving.
I deleted a contest one time in mid flight because of the same reasons. I think I just went in and removed the information for it in editing... including the title. Then I pressed submit. W/O information it just cancelled itself out.
I 'm pretty sure that works.
Haven't posted a contest since. 75% of participators don't care about any of the rules. And I don't like babysitting.
