All you have to do is put in your prices. For any products you wish to sell put in your prices in the default settings, And for images already uploaded use the bulk image editor behind the scenes.

I think you need the premium account to sell t shirts.
We are able to sell a lot more of those alternate goods through the premium account.

you can only see the shirts in pixels or the artist website -not fine art america. same with a few other products.

Mike B, you can sell all the products on the Pixels.com site

Jessica,
I thought our pixels.com site was our premium site, meaning we only got it if we paid the 30/year.
Not so?

There are 2 pixel sites. One AW. The other is like faa but with more products.

Mike,
So if one is not a premium member they get the pixels site that's like the FAA site, but not the AW(which is the other pixels site) that keeps our customers within our site?
Never really understood it clearly. Is that what the real interpretation is, of am I still out in left field?

How would Randy use pixels then. It revert back to her FAA site. How does she order t-shirts?

If you don't pay then you don't get the subdomain so https://randy-dean.pixels.com redirects to https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/randy-dean.html

You can buy shirts and other products on the pixels subdomain (if you purchased one) and from the regular pixels profile page. If you don't pay to get the subdomain you don't get the "private" site but you still get the pixels profile page.

The OP needs to direct people here (the pixels profile page) to purchase products.

Got it Don, but when I put her sub-domain as you just did, it reverted back to her FAA account;

Yours however went correctly.
Strange!
Anyhow, if she utilizes the redirect you got, she shouldn't have any problems.

Guess that explains it,
Thanks,
Mike

One another note, I did ask a couple years ago why our pixels site got redirected, but no one seemed to explain it.
Not I see the difference and why I always found it confusing.
Eyes wide shut :)
Thank you Jessica, Mike and Don!

I sorta misworded that subdomain line so I am going to fix it to make it less confusing. I am glad you see what's up now. 👍🏻

Cheers

basically this is the history.

we had fine art america - first.

then we had fine art europe, downunder, france, germany, mars etc. and fineartmars is great... the shipping is not... :)

seeing how confusing it was, he made a new domain - pixels, easy to spell, not country specific, it was destined to be the main site.

but google doesn't like alternate sites that look the same, and it will choose the original site, so FAA is still the main site. and they decided that pixels will house all the extra products, and decor items on FAA. that's where it confuses a lot of people.

the old AW was called artistwebsite. but he dumped that and made it into a sub category under pixels. the old timers here still call it the AW though. pixels can now mean either the AW or FAA the second, which is also confusing because it used to be called the AW.

and that's the basic story of that.

Great explanations Don & Mike!

Randy, I love your art & unique style :)

My goodness, you have confused me more!

I certainly know how to set up the t-shirt with my art but how people buy is beyond me. I will try the domain you sent me and see how my shoppers can buy.

Thank you all for trying to help me here. I will let you know how it goes.

people buy it because you advertised and directed people to your store - which ever store. and they see shirts and look at it more and buy it. you have to tell people you exist. and or buy your own shirts adding a link to the bottom of the picture and wear them where ever you go.

Okay, I ordered my own t-shirt. If the tee turns out okay, I assume I send the link - https://pixels.com/profiles/randy-dean.html
for people to order their own, or anything else!

Thank you Don Northup for the link.

Mike, your description of Pixels is helpful - in my early days that would have set me straight a lot sooner. When I first joined, I was confused by the two pixels sites and initially thought that I couldn't sell the additional products unless I upgraded. As I was here longer, eventually I figured it out.

i didn't even want to mention the other clones of this site by different names. like deckthewalls and i think like a dozen others. looks the same, different url.

when we had the artistwebsite it was a lot easier to keep track of. the links still work, but are old school tech.

Thanks Mike for the history lesson... and all the other supportive comments you make here.

Just a note... ladies t-shirts run VERY small because of Asian sizing. Order 2 sizes up. If the size says Medium, it's actually an xs.... extra small. If the size says Large, it's actually a Small. UNLESS... FAA has ditched the Asian blank t-shirts, and has gone back to Made in USA. But you would have to find out. Also search for other threads on this forum for discussions about the t-shirts.
