Pleased to wake up to the sale of a metal print of this small chapel or sanctuary on the High Road to Taos (between Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico). In the winter, this road is often closed because of snow, but otherwise it's a delightful drive through beautiful country, and there are many special places like Chimayo to explore.

A buyer from Clearlake, California, selected two fun Southwestern images for a couple of men's t-shirts. I love the drama of the black and white on black - only hope that the black of the shirt is intense enough for this to have the look of an "all-over" design. Longhorn & Bluebonnets Landscape Art Print from an Original Watercolor Painting. A beautiful breed of cattle & mascot for the University of Texas, Austin. "Bevo" is a steer with Burnt Orange & White coloring, which are also the schools colors.
The shape of the Longhorn's head & Horns gives rise to the UT "Hook 'em Horns" hand signal.

Longhorns are a common site on the open lands of rural Texas Hill Country. Expansive pasture fields with patches of wildflower bluebonnets, oak trees & watering holes (tanks) add to the overall natural beauty of the Southwest Landscape.

Beautiful Life in the Mangrove Above & Below the Water. Art Print from an Original Watercolor Painting of Princess Bay mangroves, St. John, USVI. A Green Heron bird perches on the mangle of red roots. Just below the surface is a school of tiny little silvery fish.

Colorful red, green & gold Coral grows on the plants roots. A white West Indian sea egg adheres to the golden coral on the right. Shy fish peek from behind plant stalks. A group of yellow fish feed in the sand between a Black Sea Urchin & White Anemone with pink tips.

Sold two on August 20, 2019 to a Dallas buyer as framed and matted prints. We had passed the vintage Shelby Store many times as we traveled from Houston to Round Top, where our kids rode in the Fourth of July parade each year. When I ventured inside and met the current owner, she told me her father had built all the buildings on the property. She said I was the first photographer to ever ask her permission to photograph it. Most just set up their tripods out front as if they owned the place. But because I asked permission for a shot or two, she gave me free rein. It turned out to be a huge blessing in other ways for both of us.
